- In the room, every timeOver 58 regular board meetings and more than 60 in-camera meetings attended and actively participated in, plus school visits and school events across the division.
- Backed full-day kindergartenSupported full-day kindergarten and before- and after-school programming in our schools — the things that decide whether a working parent can actually make the day work.
- Committee work, provincial and divisionalServed on the provincial MUST Fund Committee (Manitoba Universal Standards Trust Fund) and the division’s Riel-Evate Endowment Fund Committee, and attended six Manitoba School Boards Association conferences.
- A commerce background on a budget in the hundreds of millionsAsper School of Business, plus years in contract management and business development — a proven asset to the work of the board.

- Community-centric leadershipPutting students first by creating safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments. Making decisions aimed at balance and true community needs — not at whoever is loudest in the room.
- Fiscal responsibilityManaging resources wisely, with transparency and accountability. Louis Riel spends hundreds of millions of public dollars a year, and the people paying for it are entitled to a straight answer about where it goes.
- Student and staff wellnessSupporting the well-being of students, staff and families. A school only works when the adults in it are supported too.
- Academic classroom successHigh-quality teaching that prepares our kids to compete locally, nationally and internationally, regardless of race, background or circumstance. That’s the whole point of the building.
