The record · 2022–2026

Next term
Three commitments.
Hold me to them.
- End the enrolment capsWhen a neighbourhood school fills, new registrations get redirected elsewhere — often to families who moved here specifically for that school. That is a division growing faster than its buildings. I will keep the capital case in front of the province until Ward 4 has the space it needs, and I will publish where that request stands every year.
- A budget you can actually readEvery year the board passes a budget in the hundreds of millions. Almost no parent reads it, because it isn’t written to be read. I want a one-page, plain-language summary published before the vote, so people can weigh in while it still matters.
- Shorter waits for classroom supportThe gap between a teacher flagging a need and a child getting help is measured in months. That gap is where kids fall behind. I will keep asking for the wait-time numbers, in public, until they come down.
